Kim Delaney was an American actress from America. Her most well-known role is for her role as detective Diane Russell, in the ABC series NYPD Blue. For this she was awarded the Emmy Award. Her most well-known role is her performance as a character in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney was the sole daughter of the United Auto Workers executive and his wife who was a household worker. Her upbringing was in a family that included four brothers. Although she was a child with a dream of becoming journalist, it wasn't until high school that she began modeling. Following her move away from New York City and gaining experience in commercials and commercials in New York did she achieve an aspiring career as court reporters. The role she was given was that of a young innocent in 1981's soap opera All My Children. Delaney was a talented young actress from the 1980s has appeared in numerous TV shows and dramas. As with her professional career however, her private life has not been a success or happy one. Her personal life has been a mess. She's had two divorces that failed and fought with alcohol addiction. The actress lost custody of her son in the year 2005.
